Master the new WEPRO 2K Putties range by Montana Colors, a system of seven two-component polyester putties designed to deliver professional-quality results for repairs in auto body shops, industry, woodworking and professional maintenance.
In this course, you will learn how to identify and correctly apply each of the seven products in the range:
- Universal (Grey): for repairing, filling and levelling steel, galvanized steel, cast iron and fiberglass surfaces. Available in 250 g, 500 g, 1,000 g and 2,200 g formats.
- Fiberglass (Olive Green): reinforced with 3 mm fibers for rebuilding holes and areas with material loss on vehicle bodywork, boats, caravans and composites. Available in 250 g and 1,000 g formats.
- Bodywork (White): micro-putty for fine imperfections and surface preparation before painting. Available in 250 g and 1,000 g formats.
- Wood (Light Oak): for rebuilding corners and edges and repairing cracks and holes, both indoors and outdoors, with minimal shrinkage. Available in 250 g format.
- Metal (Metallic Grey): formulated with fine aluminium powder to reinforce and repair damaged or corroded metal parts. Available in 250 g format.
- Stone & Marble (Cream): for bonding, filling and repairing marble, natural stone and other mineral materials. Available in 250 g format.
- Ultralight (White): low-density putty for filling and levelling large surface areas while adding minimal weight. Available in 500 g format.
The course provides an in-depth explanation of the 3 Simple Steps system, the mixing and application method shared across all seven products. The hardener is included in the packaging, with a 100:2 mixing ratio in every case. You will learn how to manage working times—approximately 5 minutes of working time after mixing at 20°C, 20–25 minutes of drying time, around 30 minutes before sanding, and approximately 2 hours for full curing—allowing you to plan your workflow efficiently and complete multiple repairs within the same working day.
You will also learn about the range’s specific formulation features: six of the seven products are styrene-free, while the Fiberglass, Wood and Stone & Marble putties include a BPO hardener. All products can be conventionally sanded and overpainted with any paint system once fully hardened. The Wood putty can also be stained or varnished, while the Stone & Marble putty can be polished to achieve a smooth, uniform finish.
Finally, the course shows you how to integrate WEPRO 2K with the rest of the WEPRO preparation and finishing range—including epoxy primer, grey and red anti-corrosion primers, grey filler primer and cleaning solvent—to offer customers a complete repair process under a single brand.
This course is designed for sales teams, distributors and retail staff who need to confidently explain and recommend the WEPRO 2K range, as well as auto body, industrial, woodworking and maintenance professionals who will be applying the products.
